Leeds Town Hall

*Warning - this post contains some rubbish phone pictures but it was so fun I'm posting them anyway!*

On the Sunday morning of our BBQ we ventured into Leeds for Heritage day - as part of the day certain buildings were opened up in the city to look around for free and the Town Hall was one of them.

Although my phone didn't work particularly well inside, I did get some lovely fuji's of the outside.

As well as the main hall we also looked around the old court rooms where Thomas got to be the Judge... unfortunately I was to be sent to the cells below!

I want to go back to Edinburgh!

Remember way back in March when we went to Edinburgh?
It seems like such a long time ago now... but these beautiful holgas sent from the lovely Wendy to the equally lovely Marisa (honestly, I adore them both) has made me want to go straight back there... its really not that far from Leeds...

I love Edinburgh, holgas, the photoswap and all my photoswappers, hurray!!

For more photos see Wendy and Marisa's blogs!

p.s. How have I only just seen these ladies?! I've been under a rock I'm sure...

Thomas takes amazing photos!

As part of the photo swap, Thomas sent his photos to the lovely Allyn from All Things Ami and these were the result. I'm so delighted they turned out as last year his film disappeared which he was disappointed with...

I'm definitely making him take the Yashica Autofocus to Poland with us, I love his photos and that camera is a dream...

You can see the rest of his photos here and nearly 700 more in the flickr group, its my new favourite distraction!
p.s. eep, I love him, just thought I should say :)

Ohhh, you're my best friend...

{Post title sung in Queen fashion is required...}

**Warning there will be a number of these posts because... well my friends are amazing!! Both my life friends and my blog friends - and I couldn't be more grateful. **

First up - a much waited for post dedicated to my lovely K...

Over the August bank holiday, K gave me a box for my birthday present and inside was lots of cameras!! 6 cameras to be precise - 2 polaroids, a box brownie(!!!), 2 35mm cameras... and the final camera was K and her sisters old Action Tracker (now named action sampler on Lomography) from when they were little... how amazing is that?!

Note: there are photos of me opening the box but they are still being edited...
its on here now G - you have to send them to me, haha!

How did K know that I've been looking at multi lens cameras for a while now?!
Of course I immediately put a film in it and here are some of my favourite photos from the bbq that my Mum has pretty much every year... I may have used most of the film within the space of a couple of hours, oops!

Action Harry!

Peek a boo!

Catch!

Twirl!

Turn and... smile!

(sneaky Thomas...)

Thanks K!!
