Our Christmas tree...

These photos are actually from last year but our tree always looks pretty much the same if I'm honest (you can see photos from last year here) I'm a stickler for tradition at Christmas. Although we do have my parents fancy, flashy LED lights on the tree after I accidentally stole them earlier this year. (Thanks Dad and Mum, oops).

I took these last year with my Holga 135bc as I knew I needed to finish the film off. I didn't expect them to work to be honest, so the fact that I got some fun (if a bit silly) results always makes me smile. Sometimes I take things way to seriously so these were a nice reminder to enjoy myself, to stop comparing myself to other people and to enjoy the process, even if I am waving a camera around in front of a christmas tree haha.

Reetsweet at the Corn Exchange

In October I spent the day with Zoe at the Reetsweet Autumn Fair in the Corn Exchange in Leeds. As we were there all day,I took it as a opportunity to practice populating my photos and to try and document the lovely light and atmosphere that the Reetsweet fairs have.

Tomorrow the Reetsweet Christmas Fair is being held at the Corn Exchange and I'm really looking forward to wandering around and probably buying some christmas gifts too. If you live in Leeds I highly recommend a visit.

Also this weekend our christmas tree is going up and I am EXCITED. I love Christmas, woohoo! Have a great weekend :)

Ahoy there!

I know... I'm still posting photos of Whitby. We're getting there with them though I promise.I definitely need to go out and take some new photos soon.

Whilst we were in Whitby we went for a ride on the replica Endeavor (which you can see here, I think I've posted that photo already). The original Endeavor was built in Whitby and it was fun to think what it would have been like to see it in the harbour.

I also pretended that I was a pirate, just for a second :) then I took more photos.
