2020 366 Project 7-9

I’ve been looking through a lot of photos this week and I’m starting to get a bit overwhelmed by just how much has changed. The first week of this year, of this project, everything felt different. Everything was different. And now, here we are…

7/366 - Forever spotting lovely little details!

8/366 - Apparently this mural is 30 years old! I should really have waited to take a colour photo as B&W doesn’t do it any justice but it always catches my eye.

9/366 - I had no idea that this graveyard was in Leeds until I had to work in it - and now its one of my favourite hidden quiet spots.

Goodbye 2019...

Well kids, I made it through the year… today I hand in my second of three final uni pieces of work and its also my work christmas do - I know its a while until the end of the year, but today feels like its the end of a challenging time and I can maybe have a little relax for a few days.

Tonight I will either be laughing or crying… because even though I’m writing this a month in advance - this year has been tough!! Some bad (my health) but honestly, mostly good (everything else) and a lot of hard work in between. I was hoping to have the energy for a recap post - and I might write one over the Christmas break, you never know. But for now, this is Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all. I’ll see you in 2020!

p.s. Its a leap year next year… so I’m thinking of doing another leap year 366 film project… just to keep things nice and easy for myself - what do you think, should I do it??

Around Leeds Part II

I originally shared the first part of this series in 2016 - so I’m a little bit behind in sharing these - oops!

It turns out that I took a lot of photos in 2016 that I never shared here though - I guess my priority really was my 366 project ha. I’m thinking of making it a leap year project so that means I really need to start thinking about stocking up film for next year as 2020 will be here before I know it!

Did you know that theres an Egyptian inspired temple in Leeds?? I really don’t know why I havent shared that here before - but now you know!

23-27 366 Project

I switched it up with these photos and swapped to black and white film - in fact my favourite C41 black and white film Kodak BW400CN - and boy I'm I pleased that I did!

23/366 - A building at the University campus not too far from out house

24/366 - A food truck in Leeds

25/366 - I walk this way fairly often and the view always catches my eye

26/366 - Its not often you see a dingy on the canal (at least I can't think of many times I've seen one)

27/366 - I have so many photos of the Corn Exchange in Leeds but the lone man on the balcony seemed too perfect to not capture.

Can you believe that I hardly used this camera last year? I have no idea what I was thinking but but I'm so glad that we're in tune with each other again. I'm hoping I'm drawn to it fairly often in this project.
