Lomo lovers film swap... the first set

Over the past couple of months I've been taking photos as part of the Lomo Lovers film swap. (which reminds me, I need to do mine again soon right?)

I was partnered with Davide and these photos are from the roll of Agfa CT Precisa 100 (which I cross processed) that Davide originally took in Italy(!) with his LC-A+ and then I doubled with my Superheadz Wide and Slim. What do you think of our results?

Even though some of the shots aren't lined up I still really like them. I was a bit dubious of green shades with cross processing after using the Lomography Xpro, but this Agfa film has a more turquoise shift rather than green and I love the shades of yellow it produces. I think I definitely need to buy some more of this film soon.

Yellow...

It's no secret that I loooove yellow. I really do. Over the past couple of days as part of the Shutter Sisters One Word Color Month, the colour in focus has been yellow and I've loved looking through the Flickr group at all the photos. So I decided to gather together all my favourite yellow photos that I've taken here too, hurray!

This post is also inspired by Emily W Photography who did a gorgeous post on white photos, I think I should gather photos together like this more often!

Polaroids from last week...

Our week off was a week of two halves. The first couple of days we chilled out and relaxed (I started and completed Stacking, hehe, it is so fun!) and the last few days we went exploring. On Wednesday we hopped on the train and went to Knaresborough and Harrogate (they're on the same train line) and I took my polaroid land camera too.

I've struggled a little with the development time with this film - I think mainly due to the colder weather here in England, the first two are a little underexposed and then getting this film to scan well is hard, you'll have to trust me that they look better in person lol.

The first three are from Knaresborough, easily the prettiest place in England (I think anyway) and the last photo was taken in a stunning park that we found in Harrogate - I was delighted when the sun came out and formed the shadows across the floor.

I'm a little apprehensive about using the colour film with this camera as I know it takes a lot longer to develop and like all films, this film is precious but I also can't wait to see the results too especially as these black and white results are so pretty, even though they aren't perfect.

A year later...

I took these photos about a year ago when Adele came to visit and I thought it would be interesting to share a comparison shot to how they were and how they look now.

I'm not really surprised by the comparison as I knew that the Impossible Project film at the time was much more unstable than it is now (they've come a long way in a year but I still think they have a way to go...) and I've been fascinated with the differences, particularly the patterns. I can't decide whether to be sad that they've changed so much or not though.

It will interesting to see if the photos that I took earlier this year will have changed much in a years time too I think.
