More test shots

The more I look at these photos from my new to me Minolta Dynax 300si, the more relieved I am that they worked out, I think its definitely going to be a camera I'll use more from now on. Do any of you have this camera too? I'd love to know what you think of it.

These fake flowers were left behind by the previous owners of our house, I can't decide if I do actually like them or not, but they are handy as a test subject at least.

The first test photos

As per my usual standard, and before the snow arrived, the first photos I took with my new to me Minolta Dynax 300si was old faithful Kirkstall Abbey.

I think they turned out well - in focus at least! The weather was a bit dull which shows (it was still winter) but overall, I'm super happy. AND those whoopie pies in the last photo - vegan and gluten free!!! Oh gosh I nearly cried when I ate them because they were delicious and I haven't been about to buy cake since October. OCTOBER. Intolerances are quite challenging thats for sure. Thank goodness for specialist bakeries (this was Wildcraft Bakery in Leeds, my new favourite place ever)!

More snow...

I couldn't help myself, it is really pretty. Even if it brings the UK to a standstill!

I have to admit that the garden in our new(ish) house is amazing. I really want a Narnia lamp to go by the stairs between the trees, wouldn't that be so dreamy in the snow. I'd even leave the house to take a photo of that!

It's been snowing... a lot

If you live in the UK then you already know this and you're probably at the same point as me - the novelty is over ha! However before it wore itself out, I did what any other over excited person does when it snows and... took photos out of our window. Yup, I'm a wimp and wet and cold together is my least favourite thing, which includes snow. So out of the window it is!

I  took these photos with my new to me Minolta Dynax 300si which I bought before Christmas with a few other camera bodies that I still need to try out. I've really enjoyed using my Canon EOS 750 (as I'm sure some might have noticed) so I thought I would try out similar cameras and see how I find those. I was a little worried about the lens I bought for this camera as it seemed really dark to look through, but the results look completely fine. PHEW! I think I'll definitely take this camera out again now I know it and the lens work.
