Oh my...

Just occasionally I find something on the internet that I love so much, I HAVE to share it on here. Today is one of these days!

I actually discovered Joep Gottemaker's Flickr stream as part of Polaroid Week this year* and I honestly have no idea how I hadn't see it before! My heart skipped a beat, my breath caught in my throat - and I have no shame in admitting - it was love at first sight. Just look at those colours! And the flowers! If you're after my artistic appreciation - colourful, flower details with polaroid film is obviously the way to win me over because I just can't stop looking at these photos.

I particularly love Joep's collections of polaroids like Yellow Paradise (obviously) and Beauty of Colour.

 *You all love Polaroid Week right? I adore it! Even if I don't take any photos myself... I'm still going through the groups photos now. It's awesome! 

Polaroid Week Part II

These are the last photos that I have to share for polaroid week this year - I'm a little sad that I don't have any for tomorrow, but overall, I'm just really happy to be taking part. 

It is results like these that make me wish I had an unlimited supply of pennies to spend on film :)

It's Polaroid Week, it's Polaroid Week!

Hurray, its that time of year again - polaroid week - and I am excited!!  

These are the first four photos that I've submitted to the Flickr group. I actually took these last weekend, as I thought polaroid week was last week (oops) and as I knew I wouldn't have any time to take them during the week. I'd been saving this pack of film for something special, but that something special never seemed to come along, so instead I set myself a task to take all the photos in my back garden.

Although the first photo didn't work out very well, I was very relieved that the rest of the pack worked, even with the streak down the middle of them all.  I really like the tones of this film and taking these made me excited to try the newer films that the Impossible Project have been producing.

It's 'roid week, woohoo!

If a giveaway wasn't exciting enough, today also marks the beginning of Roid Week 2011 on Flickr.

I love polaroid week and last year I even took part, but this is the last fuji instax wide photo I have - I'm saving to buy film for Paris now... excited!!

I can't to see everyone else's photos though - will you be taking part this year?
