Last week marked the 1st birthday of Market Delivered and I'm glad to say that Thomas and I have been using this service for almost the same amount of time (about 11 months we think!) so I wanted to share these photos and celebrate here. Hurray!
Market Delivered is a service that delivers food from our local market Leeds Kirkgate - and also two other markets - Todmorden and Halifax - to the surrounding local areas. Providing fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, bakery items (so good!) and groceries delivered from the market stalls to your door by a very friendly man called Dave (that's him in the photo above, hi Dave!).
Now that we've been getting fresh fruit and veg boxes for very reasonable prices for almost a year, neither Thomas or I can really imagine buying our fresh food from a supermarket again. We still go for some things but the majority of our food is delivered by Dave and we wouldn't have it any other way!
Happy birthday Market Delivered and thank you Dave for coming up with such a great idea and also for saving our legs from walking up the hill with bags of shopping!
