Contrary to my previous scheduled post, we didn't make it to Haworth on Friday. Instead, it rained. All day. Urgh! Though I do live in England and more specifically, Yorkshire, so I guess I shouldn't be as that surprised with the weather really (though looking out of the window right now, its sunny, typical)

So instead on Friday we went into Leeds and braved the rain to look around the new shopping centre and the art gallery and also to grab a tasty (and warming) soup for lunch.

On Saturday we had an amazing breakfast at a local charity run restaurant which was just delicious, we then went shopping (always fun) and finished the evening with classical music and fireworks(!!) at the Classical Fantasia event at Kirkstall Abbey.

So all in all, a great weekend with some of my favourite people in-spite of the rain, huzzah.
