149-153 366 Project

Back to the real world with my 366 project now I'm afraid - no more lovely Malta.

149/366 - I feel like I need to see 'congratulations you made it out of bed' every day when I wake up ha!

150/366 - The peonies around our area always look stunning - I usually take peony watch photos on Instagram but sadly our peony was pulled up in the front garden last year, so I have to keep an eye out for other ones around instead.

151/366 - I know more flowers but way back when there was nothing here but weeds and rubbish, so I'm always happy to see flowers here when I was past.

We ended up in A&E with Thomas - he's ok now but a pretty nasty infection wiped him out completely for 3 weeks, urgh! Its the first time we've ever had a health scare like this and it was pretty scary but being called 'Mrs Hart' for almost 24 hours straight sure does make you feel married.

153/366 - Day 153 was mostly spent in bed recovering from the lack of sleep on day 152 but I did nip out of the front door to take a picture of these lovely poppies in the front garden. I'm drawn to them every year it seems :)

So there we go, some boring flower days and one very eventful day in between that I don't care to repeat.

144-148 366 PROJECT

Whilst I write this post its currently day 200 of this project and I'm genuinely amazed that I've managed to get this far with it - and that I've got to a point of where I really love doing it. I've missed some days sure but I've tried not to be too hard on myself about those and now I'm finding that I'll see more than one photo a day to take (which makes the final cut decision hard eep). So here are the last of our days in Malta, it feels like such a long time ago now but gosh did I really love it there.

144/366 - Azures Window on the island Gozo... it was so pretty in person and we even went on a little boat around the other side which was so fun! What a great day.

146/366 - There are only a few beaches on Malta, so sitting on the sand was a real treat and look at the colour of the sea too! Perfect.

Flowers and more flowers...

Life has been pretty busy lately - with work, tarot, photography, yoga, friends, family and spending time with Thomas - blogging has taken a bit of a back seat. I don't feel too bad about it, more of a niggling regret that perhaps blogging doesn't mean as much to me as it used to. Did anyone even notice I didn't blog for a week or that I haven't updated my 366 project on Instagram for a while? Probably not... and I'm oddly ok with that - everyone has their own life, their own distractions (see what I did there?! Ha!) most of my blog friends don't even blog anymore, so I rarely read other peoples blogs either...

I still have my 366 project, so I'm happy to come back here for that and I still take my other photos that I definitely want to share here - I guess the regret mostly comes from the lack of community around this page but like I said above, I'm as much to blame for this. Something still keeps drawing me back here though - so don't give up on me yet (assuming you're even still here!)

Anyway, when things tend to get busy I fall back on one thing I know I love taking photos of - flowers. Each of my 366 project rolls has flowers scattered in between my 366 project photos, so this is a collection from the last 3 rolls of film that I finally got developed. Hurray for flowers!
