A walk on a rainy day...
To be fair a lot of the days this year in England have been rainy, and we do have a bit of a reputation for rubbish weather (which isn't unfounded) so I guess that this post isn't really a surprise to anyone.
As part of an attempt to break up my work day I've been going for small walks around where I work, usually I sit on the stones below (they remind me of Spirited Away, I like them) and take in the sunshine and fresh air, but as it was wet, instead I went outside armed with my wellies and my camera.
I also saw a red kite (a beautiful bird of prey) on my travels. I see them fairly regularly flying around the fields and buildings but I didn't expect to see one fly straight over the field I was walking past and I definitely never expected to get a photo either - very exciting stuff!

Feeling Autumnal
I'm definitely enjoying the colours and golden sunshine of the autumnal mornings at the moment - though I could do without all the rain, but I guess that comes with it really.
This weekend is attempt two at going to Haworth, so keep your fingers crossed for us that the weather will be nicer to us this time around :) See you next week!

23. Sacred
Those 10 minutes walking to work that I have to myself to think, take photos, listen to some music, take in the sunshine, or splash in puddles...
p.s. Also, this is still one of my favourite ever photos
