Let them eat cake...

Hmmm cake! I don't about you but I love cake, so a club dedicated to cakes is one of my favourite things, especially when I all I have to do is turn up and not even make anything... the perks of being a guest of my amazing friend Clare (who has her own blog here - if you like cake, you should definitely read it!)  Clare is part of the Clandestine Cake Club where bakers bring a cake, meet other keen bakers and eat (and talk) cake... which is pretty much all you need from a meet up right?

I snuck a few photos at the last meet up that I went to - though not too many as it was getting dark (and I was eating cake, lets be honest...). Clare's cake is the third photo - a lemon meringue cake - and it was delicious!

An afternoon on the farm...

I've already shared some photos from Meanwood Urban Farm here and here before but it's such a great way to spend an afternoon that we keep going back - and taking photos - obviously.

(I don't know these two people but that little boy loooved the sheep, so I couldn't resist snapping this photo - stealth style - as I thought it was a really sweet moment. He ran into the photo below though haha.)

Now that its quickly approaching the end of the year (yikes) I've realised that I have a fair amount (or, ahem, a lot) of photos to upload from this year before its 2014, so rather than sulk that I'm so far behind with blogging/taking photos/having a life... I'm going to share them, even if they are from our holiday to Berwick in June. Though it is nice to look at some sunshine photos in winter right? And who doesn't love a Harry photo to brighten their day? Such a happy pup.

I'm really not sure why I haven't shared these photos as I really love the colours and light in them, you can't beat sunny days and sunsets at the beach.

Whilst on the Broads for my Dad's 50th birthday in March, we passed Horsey Windpump and although we didn't go inside, I did get a couple of photos from the outside. I love windmills!
