Krakow - Architecture

Walking around Krakow was honestly one of my favourite pass times whilst we were there - there was always something new to notice and I was often walking around looking up at the buildings rather than where I should have been going...

Aren't the buildings gorgeous? Even though some were run down, it just added to their character and to the feeling of the City.
I think I want to go back...
p.s You may have seen Anna's post yesterday dedicated to my dearest blog friend Clara - who is having a charity sale selling amazing Rollei cameras(!) to raise money for the victims of the Merapi Eruptions in Indonesia.

Everytime I see any terrible news about Indonesia, Clara is the first person I think of and I know that Anna has loved ones she cares about and worries about too, so if you are interested in gaining a new camera and helping a great cause, please have a look.

2011 Mini Calenders!!!

Eeeeee, I don't know about you - but I am EXCITED!

My 2011 mini calenders are finally on Etsy!

I was originally just going to do one with my favourite holga prints - but after we got back from Poland I realised that we had so many beautiful photos that captured Krakow so well that I HAD to make another one!

What do you think?

2011 Mini Calender - Holga Favorites
All photos taken with my holga around the UK

2011 Mini Calender - Krakow Favorites
All photos taken with my 35mm Yashica Samurai SLR camera in Poland
Each calender compromise of 13 5" x 7" prints - including a front cover. The pages are unbound creating lots of different ways to display them - frame them, pin them to a board or place them on a stand on your work desk - it is completely up to you.

The Holga Favourites and Krakow Favourites mini calenders are both available in the shop for $25!
(which according to Etsy is about £15.99)

And, as always - if you are a reader of my blog, you get a special treat with any order - just type 'I am easily distracted' in the message to sender box!

Gosh, I hope you like them!

Some Halloween party photos...

I know I said it before, but our party could not have gone any better!
I'm still so excited about it!

I don't normally post pictures of people on here but I was so impressed with everyones costumes that I am going to share :)

Mikela (my lovely lil sis, who's birthday was on Halloween) K and I made pumpkins! I think they turned out great (though my happy halloween is a bit messy lol)

My costume was Lily Munster from the Munsters... I think it turned out rather well...

Some super amazing costumes and Me and my lil sis (who is only taller because she is wearing heals!) the devil birthday girl!

I love this photo! Someone told me to look scared... I failed miserably...
Plus me and G have some amazing fake eyelashes on! They are my new favourite thing!

The most amazing halloween cake, thanks C! And it was delicious too.

and of course, a feet photo! Hurray!

I can't wait for for fancy dress at New Years now!

Etsy love November: The Dizzy Pixie

I recently joined the Female Photographers of Etsy and somehow I came across this lovely shop and blog of a matching name by the lovely Bria! I instantly fell in love with the colours, the soft tones, the wonderful subject matter and the amazing polaroid prints within this hidden gem of a shop...

I'm always amazed when I come across a shop of this quality and content (same goes for the blog actually, its delightful) and it isn't as busy or popular as you would expect, so I am delighted to feature this shop this month as I think the attention is well deserved and just waiting to be shared!! I hope you love it as much as I do!
