Photos, film and the Photoswap!

This past weekend was rather photo orientated and I loved it!

First I finally put up my own lomography wall. I have had those clips for 4 years and I didn't realise they were lomography ones until now - I love finding out things like that and I love how it turned out!
(though sorry about the rubbish photo...)

Then Boyfriend took his film for the photoswap using Helga (the holga) whilst I walked around with Deedee (the diana mini). Watching him take photos was so much fun, he sees completely different photos in places than I do, that and he is cute!

Unfortunately the first film from my Diana was totally ruined - it completely split in half whilst I was winding it back on. I'm devestated as I took some pretty pictures in Whitby with it - I'm hoping somewhere will try and look at the half of the film still left...

and finally today is the deadline of the photoswap! (I shamelessly stole this photo from Micaela's blog of her with her photoswap camera - isn't it great!) I am so excited about seeing everyone's results and putting all the photos together!

My very own Etsy shop!!

Oh my, oh my. I'm so excited!!

Today I opened my very own Etsy shop featuring 15 of my holga photos...
I'm so excited... and I feel a little bit sick...but good sick... I think.
Anyway, as dedicated readers of For the easily distracted...
I would like to offer you all a little treat when you order a print from my shop. Just make sure you write "I am easily distracted" in the additional message to seller box (I think thats what its called) and you will get a little surprise along with your order!

Diana Mini!

Saturday morning was so exciting - I love waiting for post to arrive. Before I hit 'Buy Now' on ebay (oops) I read a few reviews of the Diani mini saying that it a bit flimsy and the book was a waste of money but I thought it was a really solid, beautiful little camera and the packaging and the book are wonderful - I love flicking through all the photos - the page is above is my absolute favourite!

Unfortunately I haven't taken any photos with Dee Dee yet
(what do you think... Dee Dee and Helga has a nice ring right?)
instead we took Helga out to play so I could finish the last roll
from Wales in time for the photo swap!

My collection of cameras on top of the mantlepiece is now my favourite place in the house, yeay!

Holga anticipation...

{I can't wait!}

How amazing are these photos, theres a whole Flickr group dedicated to the Holga 135, I love them all.

Also I showed Boyfriend the group yesterday and now he's really excited about 'our' new camera too - I have a feeling he will be stealing it from me periodically... hehe!

Oh oh and he said he might get me the fisheye lens for my birthday (all the way in Sept)
isn't he nice? :)
