Just to say...

So I'm checking blogger on my phone whilst we were at a gig last night, trying not to be too obvious so that Boyfriend doesn't give me any dirty looks (I'm terrible, I know, sorry Boyfriend, I love you) and I see 100 followers!!

Being sly goes totally out of the window, I grab his arm, thrust my phone in his face and squeal 'oh my gosh! 100 followers!!' and Boyfriend in all his excitement says.... "didn't you only celebrate 50 like a week ago?"

Technically Boyfriend it was just over a month, so there! And yes I am as surprised as you are...

Anyway, thank you so much for following and reading my blog, I love having you all here and reading your lovely comments - I really wish that I had been much more prepared and had another giveaway to offer you as a massive thank you but I got so excited by the photo swap I didn't even think about it... I shall think of something*

So... a big hello to my latest followers: Check out all their great blogs!

Lavelle (the cutest blog!), AlphaButtonpusher, Erika, Kora Bruce (do you have a blog?), Anna, Milly, Courtney, Heather, Carly, Neonemulsion (best name ever!), Or-so-I-feel, Katrina and Jill

*Incidently if any one reading this is thinking they want to do a giveaway on my blog (how convient would that be?!) Drop me an email :)

Honest Scrap Award...

Last week the lovely Cassie from Moonface gave me the Honest Scrap Award, thanks Cassie! I love getting awards! The rules of this award are:

Share “10 Honest Things” about myself and present this award to 7 others whose blogs I find brilliant in content and/or design, or those who have encouraged me.

So here goes '10 Honest Things' about myself:

I read far far too many blogs - I can't really keep up with them but I love reading them, finding new things and meeting new people through them.

I recently admitted to myself that... keeping secrets from yourself is never a good idea!

I have a tendency to swear alot when I'm playing on the Xbox - especially if its against other people - I can't help it, I have a competitive nature.

I never ever thought that I would fall in love with photography and cameras as much as I have...

I still really want a puppy but I will settle for kittens to keep Boyfriend happy

Actually if we're being honest - I really want kittens too :)

If I was only allowed to eat one type of food it would be sushi - I can not get enough of it.

A teeny part of me is considering opening at etsy shop of my photos, the rest of me is terrified of the idea!

I have no idea where my life is going to be in 5 or 10 years - this is both scary and exciting!

I'm so so glad the photo swap has had a good response - waiting
for the first comment was the most nervewracking afternoon of my life!

7 incredible bloggers I love:

Clara from Sunflares Plethora
Wendy from Red Boots
This Lovely City
Diana (like the camera) from our.city.lights
Fallon from Fairytale Wishes & Dreams
Chelsea from Life is Beautiful
Megan from Studio M.M.E Blog

It's a photo swap...

ENTRY INTO THE PHOTO SWAP IS NOW CLOSED.
It all started when the lovely Susannah posted a link on her Twitter about disposable cameras and I started thinking how wonderful it would be to take photos to then send to someone else to develop - I love the anticipation of waiting for my own photos but waiting for someone elses with no clue about the photos would be beyond exciting!!

So here is my idea - everyone either takes a roll of film - or buys a disposable camera

it has to be something that you have to develop
and they take photos just for their swap partner, then send the cameras/films to each other and develop the other persons photos.
(and post them on their blogs for everyone to see of course)

and if that isn't exciting enough for you... here are some lovely ladies who have already volunteered to be involved!

Megan... Evelyn... Stacey...
Saskia... Chelsea... Paulina...
Nicole... Wendy... Diana...
Adele... Alissa... Fallon...

p.s. Thank you to everyone who have volunteered so far and Cassandra who helped me with making HTML coding visible on posts and in the sidebar!

Things I've learnt from blogs this week...

I'm so glad it's Friday - I still feel disorientated from being ill at the beginning of the week but at least I had a chance to properly catch up on my reader and organise all the blogs I read (I hit the limit of blogs you can follow on Blogger - how crazy is that?!) We're ordering pizza tonight and having a cosy night in (with blankets of course) I can not wait!!

  1. Autumn means yellow and more yellow! (I love all of Abby's Autumn Colours Week in fact - check it out!)
  2. Oh and some yellow tights, yeay
  3. It's a week for colour! How amazing is this cake...
  4. I adore this jewelry - the pegs are my favourite!
  5. I love love love this family portrait!

I can not wait for Monday now, I have such an exciting project that I can not wait to share with everyone!! I hope you have a wonderful weekend and see you on Monday!!

p.s. Hi to my newest followers Lola and Cynthia :)
