Yeayyyy!!!

My Holga 135BC finally arrived on Saturday - I dragged myself out of bed early and waited downstairs eagerly... for three hours!

After what felt like days the Postman knocked on the door and there it was in all its glory - how cute is the packaging? I love the Hong Kong stamps as well though I'm not impressed that Royal Mail stuck a sticker straight over two of them (I tried to peel it off but no luck, boo).

Here's me with my new Camera :) I think I might call her Helga...

We took her out for a play in Kirkstall Abbey yesterday, so hopefully I should have some photos to share soon, how exciting!!

A fleeting visit...

... from my Mum and Dad and this little guy!

They stopped at ours last night on the way up to the Lake District for their
dog friendly holiday (isnt that cute?) and left early this morning.

A couple of hours wasn't enough time to see them but its ok because
they are stopping over next weekend on the way back
from their holiday as well, I can't wait!

To mark the beginning of their holiday I brought my Mum some flowers
and I made my Dad a victoria sponge cake, yeay!

It also turns out that the puppy likes cake - he managed to steal
a few of the scraps (I forgot to grease the pan... doh)
off the table - the little scamp!

London

I'll admit it - I miss London and I love going to visit... I also love coming back home though. Here are a few fake polaroids from the weekend, we didn't take many photos as we were rushing around a bit - we didn't even get a chance to get some Laduree macaroons and I printed out a map and everything :)

We had a picnic on the grass, wondered around Hyde Park and saw Bruce Springsteen - it was absolutely amazing!
