Day 256: A day in Filey

For my birthday this year we spent a long weekend with my family in Flamborough and on one of those days we went to Filey. Even though my mum, sister and I had spent a weekend there for my amazing hen do, my Dad and brother in law had never been so it was fun to show them around.

As I have already taken quite a few photos in Filey I mostly just enjoyed the day but I couldn't help taking a few more whilst we were there.

How super cute is Harry in that last photo? Love him!

Harry Mungus

I have no idea how this nickname came about for Harry or even how it stuck, but it has and now I call him it fairly often. I don't think he really cares what you call him luckily as long as you give him attention or even better, feed him.

Most of this walk was spent as most of his walks on the beach are spent - searching for the perfect stone to bring home with him. Once he's got it, he holds onto it for dear life (though his head is turned by a biscuit if you time it right...). You can just see that he did manage to find one eventually in the last photo, phew!
