Porto: People Part I

(Spot the puppy in the last photo - its pretty much the only reason I took that photo - lets be honest!)

The more photos of people that I take, the more I'm amazed that I used to resist doing it so much. Although I still have to talk myself into it sometimes, I'm always so happy with the results when I do brave taking a photo.

I couldn't find much out about this fortification after we'd visited other than its also known as Queijo Castle (which translates as Cheese Castle - which I wish I'd known whilst we were there) as well as Forte de São Francisco Xavier.

50 Things to Make You Happy... a giveaway!

June 3, 2015 Rhianne

I actually can't remember the last time I did a giveaway on here - or what I gave away for that matter... it has been a while. But I'm happy to say that I'm having a giveaway TODAY! Woohoo!

I've been in possession of the prize for a while now - I ordered myself one of these posters and some for gifts a while ago but then completely forgot that I wanted to give away one on here too. It's been a crazy year! But I'm back into blogging and I wanted to celebrate that with you all.

So today you can win your very own copy of a 50 Things to Make You Happy poster by the beautiful and talented Che from Indieberries. I actually blogged about this when I first saw it and I've loved it ever since. You can see a picture I have of it in my house here! I look at it pretty much every day and it always makes me smile and reminds me to appreciate the little things that do indeed make me happy!

To enter use the Rafflecopter entry form below (oh blogging, you've got so fancy ha!) and leave a comment telling me (and Che) what makes you happy! The giveaway ends on Wednesday 24th June at 12.00am (Rafflecopter is very precise... I like it!) so make sure you get your entries in!

p.s. Open to International readers, woohoo.

Porto: Waiting at the platform

The time that you want to finish a roll of film that's in your camera before boarding the plane because you're worried about your film going through the scanners... This time it paid off with a sweet little series of our 5 minutes or so waiting at the platform before going to the airport.

Perhaps I should consider more street photography...
