I meant to update my blog more regularly this year - but its now April and here we are - still as inconsistent as ever but at least I keep coming back!

Leeds - Liverpool Canal

We are lucky enough to live within walking distance of the Leeds to Liverpool canal and it was sunny - so we went for a walk and I took my camera.

(I've shared other photos along the canal before... and there is a songbird in the last photo, can you spot it? We're not sure what it was exactly but it sounded lovely)

There's something about black and white film in Winter that is just so perfect.

Rodley Nature Reserve

The photos that I shared yesterdayusing the 40p(!) Olympus OM-40 camera were taken around Rodley Nature Reserve which is only a few miles away from our house, we walked along the canal, around the reserve and then walked home, stopping off for lunch on the way - it was a pretty perfect day for trying out a new (to me) camera.
