This is the first ever double exposure I took with my Holga - 6 years ago now. I doubt I could ever replicate it again even if I tried. I love looking at it again and again though - it reminds me of how very excited I was to have a film camera and how truly exciting using a film camera can be.

As is usual with the weather here - you wouldn't really think it was Summer right now! I'm sulking a little about it but at the same time, now seems like a good time to share some atmospheric photos of Filey.
One thing I love about the beach is that its wonderful at any time of the year (even in the snow!) - the atmosphere, the sound of the crashing waves, the smell of the air - you can't beat it!

Following on from my most popular tag on Flickr a couple of weeks ago - buildings - the second most popular is "shore" under landscapes. Now this one I totally understand as I LOVE the beach!
I will admit, its so great to see my photos like this in collections of trends. I often forget that I've taken SO MANY photos in the last 5/6 years with film and its nice to see oldies in the mix as well as new ones.
I do want to go to the beach now though - don't you?
