More Stratford and Shakespeare photos...

After all the excitement from yesterday, I'm back to blogging photos from April. I don't mind though, in fact I'm still feeling quite taken with Stratford Upon Avon and our little trip away for the week.

These photos were taken in the Gower Memorial just off the Canal. I'm particularly fond of these statues as the first time that I visited Stratford Upon Avon with my family we took lots of silly posing photos which is definitely one of my fondess memories from that little holiday.

Thank you to everyone who has joined the photo swap yesterday, I got 43 entries in the first day which is pretty amazing!!

Stratford Upon Avon. The home of Shakespeare

Stratford is most famous for its association with William Shakespeare and as well as seeing the house that Shakespeare was born in, we also saw the church that he was buried in. Quite cyclical I think.

I loved studying Shakespeare at school and college so it was great to visit Stratford and see it an educational point of view as well as a touristy one. You can see all of the photos that I took in Stratford with this camera in this Flickr Set, there are quite a few I didn't share on here.

Can you believe its Friday already?! This week has flown by!

Happy weekend!
