Single Frame: Sitting in the Sunshine

Blogging and photography have always been weaved together as a process for me - especially as I started blogging before I took photos with film again. So I think subconsciously, I always took a group of photos together to tell a story, to bring them together here to share with you guys in a collective way that conveyed my whole experience.

However, this year, that has shifted away - and inspired by Jim (I'm going to keep mentioning until you all click through and enjoy Jim's blog as much as I do haha) and his single frame series, I've started sharing my single frames here and thoroughly enjoying stand alone photos for the experience that they are.

Gosh I wish I was sitting in the sunshine like this now too! The weather here is cold and although I love winter photos too - I sure do miss the warm sunshine on my skin.

Playing tourist...

Although I spent many years living in Norwich, its been nearly ten years now since I lived there full time (time really flies!) so every time we have a spare couple of hours to hang out in Norwich with no real plans, we always enjoy playing tourist and visiting areas we've either never been to, or somewhere that we haven't been for a while. And of course I take photos too!

Although I only took one photo of the pub sign, I particularly enjoyed our visit to the Adam and Eve pub as my sister discovered a few years ago that we are descendants of the smuggling landlady Elizabeth who ran the pub in the mid 1900's - I'm kind of amazed I've never been before to be honest, but it was fun to visit for sure.

The last 366/2016 post!

Yup, we've made it guys! All the photos are developed and scans and this is the last post of my 366 project from 2016. Eep! I'll be honest, I have no idea what I'll be sharing on here and Instagram now haha, it feels like this project totally took over both places. I guess I better get out with my cameras...

361/366/2016 - To end in a true film style, a few of these last photos appear to be taken on a scratched film - its definitely not dust this time I promise. Still it adds to the film character right :)

363/366/2016 - It was a frosty morning and I thought this little plane garden ornament looked great! Even with a scratched film.

364/366/2016 - We went for breakfast in Norwich before catching the train back to Leeds and managed to catch this lovely view across the city in the sunshine, wonderful.

365/366/2016 - Back in Leeds and we went on an adventure to a new cafe. The lemon meringue looked so good I had to take a photo.
