Beningbrough Hall Little Details

I honestly have no idea why I’ve just sat on these photos for so long because I love them. I wish I had more ideas of what to do with all the photos I’ve taken - I used to love sharing them here, on Flickr and Insta. But Flickr got too expensive for the reward, Insta is soooo much effort and akthough I’m happy sharing them here still - I honestly have no idea how many of you are still around or if I’m just pissing in the wind haha.

Anyway… I still love these photos. The upside down R on the typewriter and the font of the Wild Woodbine Cigarettes are what caught my eye the most.

Beningbrough Hall Garden

I’ve shared photos of Beningbrough Halls Gardens before and every time we visit I get a bit giddy because it is exactly the time of thing I love photographing. Old green houses - check, flowers - check, gorgeous textures that make the happy synapses in my brain ping - check!

These photos are from the rolls of film that I developed myself and its probably taken me this long (over a year yikes) to get over the frustration of these images not being completely perfect. I love the grain but the water stains and the marks I still find incredibly frustrating because I know they are due to my own mistakes rather than it being something out of my control.

Maybe I owe Beningbrough Hall another visit to try again so I can get it right ha.

Beningbrough Hall Revisited... Again

I made the mistake of watching Bridgerton (like everyone else in the world it seems ha) and other than LOVING all the clothes and hats… I felt so sad that we can’t go visit any glorious old, huge houses at the moment.

Luckily I still have some photos of Beningborough Hall to share which is scratching that old house itch for a little while. All those lovely details!
