Stari Grad, Hvar Part 1

Our first major day trip was to the island of Hvar. We'd heard lots of great things about it and we were not disappointed. We took the ferry to Stari Grad - a town on the north side of the island and walked the short distance from the port to the small town enjoying the views and the sunshine which were both glorious!

Stari Grad itself is one of the oldest town in Europe and although it was small, there was so much to see and smile at. The streets were lovely and colourful, there were palm trees(!), people on mopeds whizzing around and I took a lot of photos.

I love this first set of photos, there's something special about the first few photos of a new place you visit - you almost feel like you have to capture everything you specifically want to remember in those first few photos so that it doesn't become common place to you as you walk around.

Also, how perfect is the Ektar film for the location?! Eep.
