Komorebi

I learnt a new word today (lots in fact) and it means

"light that filters through the trees"

Today I really want to go out and take more photos of trees in the sunshine.
I've missed that feeling so much.

Also today I got discharged from my therapy sessions which feels awesome.
I've missed that feeling so much too.

It also feels surreal especially now I know that this is really only the tip of the iceberg in my fight, in my recovery, in my progress... but now I feel like I have better skills to cope and hopefully, I can keep doing my best and keep fighting moment by moment and day by day.

And tomorrow... I think I'll go take some photos of trees.

Lovely little details

My first full roll of 2014 is possibly my favourite roll of photos ever - in fact there was only one photo in the entire roll that I was unhappy with. That has never happened before. I can only show a few photos here as the roll of photos was a gift to one of my best friends on her wedding day (technically her second wedding day, she got married in a different continent but had another wedding day here in the UK) but here as a few lovely details of that day that I wanted to capture forever.

It was a gloriously sunny day, with golden hues and I was so so happy about that, in fact, it couldn't have been any more perfect light wise. The rest of the day was also wonderful, full of love and happiness - like any wedding should be :)
