Things I've learnt from blogs this week...

Its been a hard week this week and to make things even more frustrating we are no closer to knowing whats happening today then we were on Monday... At least its the weekend now, phew. We haven't got anything planned either - I'm looking forward to having a relaxing couple of days!

  1. I'm not sure what is better - the fact that a box turns into a coathanger or that its addressed to Mr Benn!!
  2. These images are lovely - I love the walls
  3. Matching stamps and stationary is to cute!
  4. I'm not normally that keen on masks but these are so delicate and pretty
  5. Balloons are so pretty!

Hope you all have lovely weekends!

Happy Friday - A Tea for Joy Giveaway!

It seems every friday Tea for Joy is in one of my posts somehow (I love this blog) and now such an amazing give away! A year's worth of stationery from Papermash - one package each month for twelve months, with a minimum retail value of £10 per month - I love stationary!

Also, check out the free typewriter download... eep, its so cute and theres illustrative tape - I think I might have to buy some of that anyway :)

p.s. Thanks to Melissa Kaye for posting about this - I might have missed it otherwise...

A few confessions...

  • My head is all over the place this week worrying about Boyfriend - I have no idea what I want to post about.
  • I need to think of a better nickname than Boyfriend - it really doesn't do him any justice!
  • I have so much music on my ipod - but all I want to listen to is Bat For Lashes 'Two Suns'. Its amazing!
  • I don't really get the Regina Spektor thing... sorry...
  • I know that I should loose a little bit of weight - but I really can't be bothered.
  • I have read 9 books in the past two weeks - I just can't seem to stop myself.
  • Sometimes I wish I could drive so I could go home and see my Mum and Dad for a hug.
  • I really can't stand Facebook anymore - I do not need to know that some of my friends are fans of sleeping naked! (Ew!)
  • I will never get tired of playing 'Don't Stop Believing' on Rock Band (sorry boyfriend, I know you're fed up of it already)
  • I can't seem to stop blogging - even though I have no idea what I want to write...

Holga vs Digital

It wasn't until I got the roll of film processed with the Scarborough photos on that I remembered that I took a photo with each camera in order to do a comparison...

I'm really amazed by how much brighter the colours in the holga are and how much wider the digital photo is.

Even though the focus is slightly off on the holga (and theres an annoying person in the photo!) I think that it captured the moment much better than the digital camera - it was a gorgeous day and the sky and sea were stunning!

Though of course I still love them both!
