As well as looking around Whitby on our week away, we also explored the neighbouring bays, including the fishing harbour village of Staitheswhich I became quite taken with. A lot of the area around Whitby seems to be frozen in time, I can imagine that Staithes in particular hasn't changed all that much in the past 100 or so years.
