Robin Hood's Bay in Colour

I was a little worried about visiting the area around Whitby that I would feel like I couldn't take any photos as I'd already taken them before on our last visit. Luckily there were so many lovely details in Robin Hoods Bay that I really had nothing to worry about. It was nice to visit with colour film as well this time as all my other photos from here are black and white or redscale.

I'm pretty sure Robin Hoods Bay is up there as one of the cutest places ever (even with its evil slope down to the bay after a 4 mile hike up and down the coastal path), how cute is that gnome? Love it!

Whitby to Robin Hoods Bay Part II

As the day went along the sun came out and the views along the cliffs and the coast line were just stunning - and totally worth all the effort of the climbing. We had a nice snack on the bench I took a photo of and the first glimpse of Robin Hoods Bay was a very welcome sight by the end of our walk!

Whitby to Robin Hoods Bay Part I

We decided to walk from Whitby to Robins Hood on one of the days of our week - we underestimated quite how up and down and challenging the walk would be over the 4 miles - but it was totally worth it for the views (and of course the photos ha) even though it was a bit grey and gloomy to start with.

262-266 366 Project

I love this selection of photos as they are all from our week away in Whitby however, like with Malta, it is so bizarre to see what felt like a long time condensed down to just 5/6 photos. I guess really, its quite odd to have just 366 photos represent your year as well... it doesn't quite tell the whole story, just snippets. Too deep thinking for a 365 project perhaps?

262/366 - We went on a whale watching boat - I didn't get any photos of the minki whales or porpoises we saw (eep!) but I did take some photos of how lovely and serene the water looked that day.

264/366 - We walked from Whitby to Sandsend and it was as lovely as I remembered, even on a grey day where we got caught (and soaked) in the rain.

265/366 - We walked along the Cleveland Way from Whitby to Robin Hoods Bay and it was beautiful... and challenging, and long and we were shattered at the end... but it really was oh so beautiful
