Gone fishing...

Admitelly, I've never 'gone fishing' in my life - but its a catchy title and apt for these photos so its staying ha.

For years I spent a lot of my time making the effort to get people into my photos - and it always seemed so hard - yet these all seemed so effortless. In fact they may be some of my favourite photos from recently and although I'm not going to actively try and take photos of people in the future (After a year of pushing myself to take photos and then the entrance of grief into my life, I'm not pushing myself to do anything at the moment!) I am intrigued to see if I take more photos of people as effortlessly.

p.s. the dog isn't a fisherman but it was definitely looking for something in the water - cute!

Fewston Reservoir

A few weeks ago when my sister and brother in law came to visit we went to Fewston Reservoir (not to be confused with Swintsy Reservoir on the other side of the bridge ha) and the weather was glorious. Much, much nicer than it has been lately thats for sure! Come back sunshine we miss you!

Gosh I really do hope the sunshine comes back to the UK sometime soon, all this dull weather is not helping with the post winter blues and grief - at least looking at these photos and remembering the feel of the sun on my face and the sound of the water is making it all a bit more bearable though.

Random photos from last year...

I still can't believe I hardly took any photos with my LC-A last year, it was my go to camera for such a long time that to barely use it feels weird. I think the batteries might be on their way out though as these images aren't as crisp as they can be with this camera, so I'll look into that. Still they have a nice film grainy fuzz to them at least!

North Landing

Anyone else love how the name of this place sounds like its from Game of Thrones? I'm easily pleased ha! These photos are actually from last September, how crazy is that?! I dont think I've ever left a film to sit in my LC-A for so long, oops! It was a nice surprise when I got this roll developed though, I like them.

And as ever, with my photos from the coast, its time for 'spot the sneaky photo of a dog I have to take' hahaha. Its a bit hard to make out, but its there.
